Double Layered Apple Cake

Ingredients:

Dough mix:

  • 1/2 cup Nuttelex

  • 1/2 cup Naked Planet Vanilla Yoghurt

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • 1/3 cup maple syrup

  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • 1/3 cup plant based milk

Apple mix:

  • 3 apples, peeled, cut into quarters and slices

  • Juice of 1/2 lemon

  • 1 tbs brown sugar

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Method:
  1. Blend with hand held mixer then add 1.5 cups plain flour.

  2. Mix again.

  3. Mix together in a bowl.

  4. In a loaf pan, layer half the dough mix.

  5. Place half the apple slices on top.

  6. Add second layer of dough mix.

  7. Top with remainder of apple slices.

  8. Cook at 175 degrees for about 50 minutes and until apples are browned and skewer comes out clean.
